Located in Al Khor, about 35 minutes north of Doha, the school teaches a mix of local and expatriate students through an engaging primary programme built from the English National Curriculum and the Qatar Ministry of Education curriculum. Primary learners have access to indoor and outdoor learning areas, a modern dance studio, and a heated outdoor 25m swimming pool.

Role Purpose

  • Support the primary leadership team in delivering the school’s mission through excellent teaching and learning for children.
  • Bring strong classroom practice, a positive attitude, and a clear commitment to growing professionally.
  • Show dedication to the mission, vision, and values of Nord Anglia International School Al Khor and Nord Anglia Education.
  • Use solid curriculum knowledge to teach and assess effectively, take ownership of professional growth, and help every learner reach their potential.

  • Deliver high-quality planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting that responds to a range of learning and social needs.
  • Stay adaptable to school priorities and contribute actively to development and growth plans.
  • Follow agreed policies and implement new developments effectively.
  • Demonstrate secure subject and curriculum knowledge, and teach and assess to a high standard.
  • Use tracking and monitoring systems to improve pupil progress and strengthen professional practice in line with school priorities.
  • Take personal responsibility for ongoing professional development.
  • Represent the school professionally and communicate its story positively at all times.
