About the Role

St Vivekanand Millennium School is looking for a Principal to lead the institution’s academic and administrative direction. Key Responsibilities

• Set the school’s vision and mission in motion, keeping it aligned with academic requirements and the expectations of the local community.
• Build a school climate that supports active student participation, strong learning outcomes, and emotional well-being.
• Work with teachers to plan and deliver effective teaching programmes that address varied student learning needs.
• Handle hiring, onboarding, training, and performance review processes for staff while encouraging ongoing professional development.
• Maintain strong relationships with parents and community members to support school activities and student success.
• Use student data and performance trends to identify improvement areas and guide action plans.
• Oversee budgets, materials, and institutional resources to support programmes and campus facilities.
• Ensure the school follows all applicable local, state, and national regulations and maintains a safe environment.
• Encourage modern teaching methods and effective use of technology in classrooms.
• Represent the school’s interests in district and community forums and advocate for student and institutional needs.

Requirements

• A master’s degree in education administration or a closely related discipline.
• At least 6 years of experience in education leadership, ideally in a K-12 environment.
• Solid knowledge of curriculum planning and effective classroom instruction practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work with different stakeholder groups.
• Proven ability to guide teams, motivate people, and lead toward shared goals.
• Comfort with data analysis and using insights to improve teaching and learning.
• Commitment to inclusive, equitable, and student-centred education.
• Capability to manage budgets and school resources responsibly.
• Openness to innovation and change in the education sector.
• Minimum education requirement: Master’s/Post-Graduation.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Haryana, India. The salary range is ₹16,00,000 to ₹20,00,000 per year. There is 1 opening available. The role is expected to begin immediately.
