Private Equity Analyst

Role Overview

This contract role is centered on private equity research, with a focus on producing analysis that can directly support investment decisions. The work involves handling deal evaluation, market analysis, and the creation of high-quality outputs for internal use.

The position is remote and is compensated at $130 per hour for a commitment of 10+ hours each week.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve financial models that assist with investment decision-making.
• Prepare clear investment memos and concise analytical write-ups.
• Perform market sizing exercises and estimate total addressable market opportunities.
• Review deal-related documents such as CIMs and diligence materials.
• Assist with deal sourcing by researching and screening potential opportunities.

Core Requirements

• Solid understanding of private equity workflows and how investment decisions are evaluated.
• Proven ability to build financial models and organize analytical work effectively.
• Experience working with transaction documents and due diligence materials.
• Ability to turn complex findings into concise, well-written insights.
• Reliable performance in independent, project-based assignments.
