Role overview

This position is for an RPA Developer based in Mohali, Punjab, reporting to the RPA COE Lead / Solution Architect within the CI and RPA function. The role focuses on building, improving, and deploying automation solutions using tools such as Automation Anywhere and Power Automate, while working closely with process owners, local operations leaders, and subject matter experts. It also includes document archiving responsibilities, support for internal and external stakeholder service needs, and training team members on automation methods.

What you will do

  • Spot automation opportunities early and carry out feasibility checks and effort estimates.
  • Design automation solutions with the Solution Architect, following approved design standards and best practices.
  • Own assigned projects from the initial definition stage through final delivery.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about automation progress and adjust quickly based on feedback.
  • Highlight risks, dependencies, and cross-functional conflicts, then recommend or apply fixes where needed.
  • Stay aware of current and emerging industry practices to improve value delivery and performance for the business.
  • Maintain complete RPA project documentation and share audit logs to support a smooth audit process.
  • Support document archiving activities and provide strong service to internal and external teams, including Bunge Global, Bunge APAC, counterparties, and statutory teams.
  • Train other team members on automation techniques.

Performance expectations

  • Deliver around 5 to 6 complex robotics process automation projects each year.
  • Help create 3 to 4 FTE savings annually.
  • Improve automation output, efficiency gains, project turnaround time, lifecycle documentation compliance, and CSAT scores.

  • Applying industry-standard RPA practices so automations remain scalable and reusable.
  • Improving process performance to strengthen customer satisfaction.
  • Getting stakeholder feedback and approvals on time through disciplined lifecycle management.

Leadership and working style

  • Strong understanding of RPA tools and the full project lifecycle.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to solve problems effectively and work well with others.
  • Comfortable driving change in a proactive, outcome-focused way.
  • Strong customer-first mindset.
  • Experience collaborating with operations or process teams to identify automation opportunities.

Technical and functional expertise

  • Hands-on experience leading RPA projects using methods and tools such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access, and MS SQL.
  • Programming or scripting knowledge in VBA, VB, Java, C#, or Python is beneficial.
  • Experience delivering at least 5 RPA automation projects using Automation Anywhere or Power Automate.
  • Understanding of shared services technologies that support business process services.

Experience and education

  • Graduate degree required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in process automation, preferably in a BPO, SSC, or ITES environment.
  • Strong customer service capability.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of Asian languages is an added advantage.
  • Good problem-solving and organizational abilities.
  • Track record of delivering results in global, cross-functional settings.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn detailed information into clear, actionable points and influence others toward agreement.
