Role overview

Join a well-known UK media business in a key procurement position that helps support some of the country’s most recognised outlets. This is a strong opportunity to work in a busy, high-energy environment where you will help reduce costs and strengthen supplier partnerships.

The role is based near Chelsea, London, within the media and publishing sector. The offered package is £42,000 plus benefits.

What you will do

  • Support sourcing initiatives across several spend areas, including marketing, human resources, and technology.
  • Lead contract discussions to achieve the best possible commercial outcomes for the business.
  • Develop productive working relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Review spend information and turn it into useful procurement findings and recommendations.
  • Handle supplier communication and manage contract renewals so services continue without disruption.

Required experience and capabilities

  • Hands-on experience managing procurement from start to finish, including sourcing activity.
  • Background in indirect procurement supporting wider business functions.
  • Strong negotiation ability and sound commercial judgement.
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with clear and confident communication.
  • Well-organised, able to manage time effectively, and attentive to detail.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Power BI, and procurement platforms such as Coupa.
