At Gong, you’ll join a team that values innovation, bold ambition, and strong collaboration. The company is building the future of revenue intelligence and is looking for people who are eager to help shape what comes next. You’ll work with teammates who think big, move quickly, and care deeply about craft and one another. Transparency and trust are central to the culture, and each person has the chance to make a visible difference. If you want to grow, stretch, and do meaningful work, this is a place to build some of the best work of your career.
Role Overview
Gong is looking for a driven Product Design Manager to lead, support, and develop a team of product designers while helping deliver strong design outcomes across a key product area. This role combines team leadership with hands-on design thinking and close partnership with Product and Engineering.
This position is hybrid, with three days each week in the Dublin office on Dame St.
What You’ll Do
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of product designers, helping them grow in skill and confidence.
- Shape the design direction and overall user experience for a major product area in partnership with Product and Engineering.
- Give structured feedback, clear guidance, and thoughtful critique to raise the quality of the team’s design work.
- Support designers through discovery, ideation, and delivery, from initial ideas to polished solutions.
- Champion user needs and keep design decisions aligned with both customer value and business outcomes.
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to define roadmaps, prioritize work, and create impactful experiences.
- Improve and maintain UI standards, design systems, and team best practices.
- Help with hiring, onboarding, and building a strong and collaborative design culture within the Dublin team.
About the Team and Ways of Working
Gong’s Product Design team operates on an “Own. Solve. Impact.” mindset, giving employees ownership to tackle complex problems, make sound decisions, and create products that deliver meaningful results.
Product Designers work in empowered pods alongside a product manager and engineering team. Each pod works directly with customers, iterates toward strong solutions, and drives those solutions to success. The team also values collaboration, learning, and shared expertise across highly talented designers.
Who Should Apply
- Design leaders with 3 to 5 years of experience managing product designers.
- Product designers who have worked on flows, experiences, and interfaces for complex digital products, ideally in B2B SaaS.
- Candidates who can balance people leadership with hands-on design involvement when needed.
- Leaders who can give clear feedback, support decision-making, and help teams move through ambiguity.
- Strong problem solvers who can simplify complex challenges into practical next steps.
- People who are passionate about creating excellent UX and building high-performing design teams.
- Professionals with experience in user research methods and in applying research insights at both team and product level.
- Applicants comfortable using Figma and modern design workflows.
- Excellent communicators with strong presentation, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Culture and Inclusion
Gong encourages people to bring their full identity and personality to work, including gender, ethnic, religious, and sexual identity. The company is committed to fairness and equal opportunity.
Working Model
