Product Designer

Role overview

This is a remote UK product design opportunity for someone who approaches design with the mindset of a product engineer: balancing visual craft, product judgement, and enough technical curiosity to work very close to implementation. The compensation range is £65,000 to £75,000 per year, and the role includes monthly London meetups.

The product is moving from a heavily managed service into a self-serve platform that brands can use more independently. The design work will focus on simplifying a system that already works, while making it more intuitive, polished, and scalable.

What you will do

• Own the design process from discovery through delivery, including information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and final handoff.
• Help mature an existing Figma design system by improving documentation, creating new components, and increasing consistency across the product.
• Design self-serve product experiences that allow brands to create value without depending on manual support.
• Use AI tools as a practical part of your workflow for ideation, prototyping, copy exploration, and decision support.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering in workshops, discovery sessions, and implementation discussions.
• Contribute design judgement and challenge ideas constructively when needed, while keeping delivery moving in a fast-paced team.

• A portfolio that demonstrates attention to detail, strong craft, thoughtful micro-interactions, and clear trade-off decisions.
• Real product thinking, not just execution, with the ability to understand the purpose and impact of what is being built.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills for working with a technically capable engineering team.
• Comfort with code or a clear effort to build coding fluency, including the ability to work with implementation, agent-assisted coding, or small production updates.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools in a structured and documented way.
• Comfort with autonomy, uncertainty, and a setting where ownership is part of everyday work.
