Role Overview

This position sits within Kuda’s growth function and plays a central part in helping the team design, test, and improve initiatives that move key growth metrics. You will collaborate with the Head of Growth, engineers, designers, analysts, and marketing partners to turn ideas into experiments, learn from results, and ship strong product experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create an experimentation and optimisation plan aligned with growth OKRs.
  • Define success measures and failure signals for experiments and product changes.
  • Encourage the use of behavioural analytics across the product organisation.
  • Use both quantitative and qualitative research to guide testing and decision-making.
  • Deliver well-built MVPs that can be used to validate hypotheses quickly.
  • Document and share learnings from growth experiments with relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional growth stakeholders to improve AARRR metrics.
  • Develop and validate data-led hypotheses to improve acquisition, activation, retention, referral, and revenue.
  • Use analytics tools to refine product performance and customer journeys.
  • Apply A/B testing, surveys, and usability research to inform product direction.
  • Set priorities, gain alignment, and coordinate with engineers, designers, and analysts.
  • Work with the core product team to ensure smooth collaboration and strong workflow alignment.
  • Write product specifications and build wireframes to communicate solutions clearly.
  • Partner with Growth Engineering to support a reliable and sustainable release rhythm.
  • Work with Growth Marketing and Analytics to personalise the acquisition funnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience.
  • Professional certifications are considered an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in growth product management.
  • Hands-on experience designing, running, and evaluating growth experiments.
  • Strong understanding of the mobile ecosystem.
  • Ability to shape, manage, and prioritise several projects at once.
  • Experience using analytics and research to improve product growth.
  • Ability to use data analysis to support growth strategy decisions.
  • Experience in fintech is preferred.
  • Familiarity with African markets is preferred.
  • Strong focus on user experience.
  • Motivation to help build something impactful.
  • Alignment with a culture of empathy, teamwork, and passion.
  • Commitment to learning and professional growth.
  • Sense of ownership and accountability for results.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

  • Pension coverage.
  • Competitive annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Group life insurance.
  • Health insurance.
  • Learning and development training.
  • A work-life balance approach, including a remote-working option for 3 days per week.
