Role overview
We are recruiting for a partner of Haystack for a Product Manager position based in Germany. The role carries ownership for a market and product segment both within Germany and across international markets, with responsibility spanning internal coordination and external market-facing work.
What you will do
- Assume accountability for a defined market and product portfolio in both domestic and international settings.
- Study the market independently to improve existing offerings in the damage assessment space and translate findings into market and product concepts.
- Drive product refinements and help create new products, taking them through to launch readiness together with operations, marketing, and sales.
- Act as the voice of market and customer needs inside the business so they are reflected in strategic and day-to-day decisions.
- Work closely with IT requirements management to make sure technical solutions match the product direction and customer expectations.
What we're looking for
The ideal candidate has a technical university degree or equivalent advanced training such as master mechanic qualification. Prior exposure to damage management or a similar field is preferred. You should bring a strong sense of ownership, a proactive mindset, and a practical, solution-focused way of working. Clear communication, confidence, and openness to different viewpoints are important, as is a customer-first approach and comfort working across disciplines. Good English ability and readiness to travel within Germany are also required.
