Role Summary

PhillipCapital is hiring a Product Manager to drive the evolution of core trading capabilities within its global mobile trading platform. This position plays a key role in strengthening the platform’s reliability, precision, and overall trading experience. The role centers on product areas such as live price feeds, market data connectivity, order submission, order configuration, and portfolio/account features. You will partner with engineering, design, operations, and compliance to deliver a smooth, dependable, and high-performing product.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the product direction for core trading features on the global trading platform, including price feed integration, market data presentation, trade submission journeys, and order type setup.
  • Work with engineering teams to support accurate real-time information, stable system behavior, and fast trade execution.
  • Shape and improve the user flow for placing trades, reviewing portfolios, and accessing account details.
  • Coordinate with data suppliers and internal stakeholders to enhance how market data is collected, processed, and displayed.
  • Help ensure the product aligns with trading and account-related regulatory obligations.
  • Perform market and competitor research to uncover product gaps and opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Identify customer needs and friction points in trading and investing experiences, then convert them into new features or product enhancements.
  • Manage and prioritize the backlog for improvements tied to trading efficiency and user confidence.
  • Track product performance indicators such as trade completion rate, latency, and usage of trading tools; analyze feedback and data to guide prioritization.
  • Share roadmap updates and product progress with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and client-facing teams.
  • Guide cross-functional delivery from concept through release, working closely with engineering and UX teams to ensure quality and timeliness.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in mobile trading, fintech, and product management.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management, with hands-on experience launching features on native mobile applications.
  • Direct experience working on trading or investment platforms is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of equities trading, including market data, price feeds, order types such as market, limit, and stop orders, and the full trade lifecycle.
  • Sound understanding of mobile development workflows and mobile UX principles, with the ability to grasp technical concepts and manage complexity.
  • Exposure to FIX protocol, order management systems, or related trading infrastructure is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical ability and a track record of using data to inform product decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align both technical and non-technical teams around goals and roadmap.
  • Experience with product and analytics tools such as JIRA, Roadmunk, Google Analytics, Tableau, and MoEngage.
  • A fast learner who is thorough, adaptable, and willing to build domain knowledge over time.
  • Genuine interest in fintech and in creating polished, customer-facing digital experiences.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, agile environment.
  • Knowledge of basic coding, AI adoption, or RPA would be beneficial.
