Job description
Role overview
We are looking for a Product Manager who combines hands-on healthcare expertise with strong knowledge of Value-Based Care. In this position, you will shape and deliver products that help raise care quality, improve patient outcomes, and manage costs more effectively.
The role works across business, clinical operations, and technology teams. You will convert healthcare workflows, payer and provider operating models, and regulatory expectations into practical product solutions that can scale. Experience with healthcare data, care management tools, and population health programs in payer, provider, or value-based care environments is especially important.
What you will do
- Own the product direction, roadmap, and backlog for Value-Based Care programs, ensuring they support organizational goals related to quality, cost, and patient outcomes.
- Turn clinical, operational, and financial needs such as care gaps, HEDIS/Stars metrics, and risk adjustment into well-defined features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with clinical, analytics, engineering, and operations partners to design and deliver scalable solutions for care management and population health.
- Make prioritization calls based on business impact, compliance needs, and improvements to patient and provider outcomes.
- Run and support Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning, while keeping all teams aligned.
- Use data and analytics to monitor product success, measure KPIs such as cost of care, utilization, and care gap closure, and refine capabilities over time.
- Contribute to the modernization of healthcare workflows across patient engagement, provider workflows, and care coordination initiatives.
Required background
- Professional experience in product management, ideally in healthcare technology or health services.
- Strong working knowledge of Value-Based Care models such as ACOs, risk-based arrangements, population health, and care management.
- Demonstrated ability to convert complex healthcare processes into scalable product designs and technical requirements.
