About the Role

Recordati is looking for a Production Coordinator to join its Cork site in County Cork, Ireland. The position plays an important part in day-to-day plant operations and works closely with internal stakeholders. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role contributes across a range of site activities and supports the smooth running of the production facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all site safety and quality procedures while carrying out everyday work.
  • Prepare and release manufacturing campaigns according to guidance from the Production Manager and Plant Manager.
  • Work with the Production Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to sequence batches and plan downtime in line with the master schedule.
  • Track solvent inventory changes and coordinate with Procurement and Environment teams for solvent deliveries and waste collections.
  • Examine production batch records in line with site procedures and GMP requirements.
  • Create process orders and issue batch records.
  • Take part in daily production meetings and contribute actively.
  • Maintain and distribute production KPIs.
  • Draft technical documents and standard operating procedures.
  • Support the full closure of process deviations and change controls.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Education

A BSc (Hons) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, or a closely related qualification is preferred. Alternatively, candidates with at least 6 years of experience in GMP manufacturing or operations may also be considered. A Lean qualification at Yellow Belt or Green Belt level would be an added advantage.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with SAP or a similar system, have a strong technical approach, and be a confident problem solver. Good command of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, is also important. Strong spoken and written English is required.
