What the role involves
The Production Operative will be responsible for producing and finishing print jobs to the required specification and quality standard. Key responsibilities
- Follow work docket instructions accurately and interpret production requirements correctly.
- Carry out print and finishing work to a consistently high standard, and raise any quality concerns early with the sales representative.
- Keep the job management system updated with production progress.
- Prepare completed jobs for dispatch through customer collection, courier, or Snap delivery.
- Look after production equipment and keep maintenance records current.
- Check parts and finished items against Snap and customer specifications.
- Support printing, quality control, and packing activities.
- Assist management with production planning and workflow organisation.
- Support stock and storage management across the production area.
- Step in to support the wider production team whenever workload demands require it.
- Perform final checks to confirm all customer requirements are met before delivery.
- Keep the work area neat, organised, and safe.
- Take on additional duties assigned by management.

Requirements

- Good knowledge of quality standards, health and safety, and environmental procedures is required, including ISO-related processes.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools and creating reports when needed.
- Fluency in English and a clean driving licence are required.
- The ability and willingness to learn from feedback is important.
