Job description
Role overview
This position supports day-to-day production operations by preparing manufacturing and job documentation, keeping schedules current, and coordinating closely with workshop and support teams to meet customer expectations, engineering specifications, and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Make sure work is carried out in line with company quotations, customer purchase orders, and the standards that apply to each job.
- Prepare bills of materials, purchase requests, route sheets, inspection and test plans, production receipts, and invoices tied to assigned jobs.
- Maintain monitoring reports and planning sheets, and keep job status records updated according to the production plan.
- Work with the Operations Manager, workshop personnel, quality control, procurement, and field service teams to keep production running smoothly.
- Assist with manpower planning and track job progress, resource use, time sheets, and completion status.
- Check the scope of work, shutdown needs, and pricing consistency against the company’s commercial proposals.
- Draft meeting minutes after client discussions and share regular progress updates with management on production and invoicing.
- Help ensure materials are procured on time and keep production registers and related records organized.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and subcontractors to follow up job status and flag any delays.
- Follow QMS requirements and maintain complete records for all work orders and related documents.
- Assist with general housekeeping and take on additional tasks when assigned.
- Observe all company and client QHSE policies, procedures, and management systems at all times.
- Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and hazards immediately and document them correctly as required.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and quality, and speak up when unsafe or non-compliant practices are seen.
Required skills and knowledge

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Comfort in reviewing and interpreting technical information from different sources.
- Understanding of production planning and logistics workflows.
- Clear English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Understanding of rotary and static equipment used in oil and gas and industrial repair work.
- Familiarity with relevant API and ISO requirements for company products.
- Exposure to CAD tools; stronger CAD proficiency will be an advantage.
Experience
The role calls for around 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar production support, planning, or engineering position within an industrial or workshop setting. Knowledge of ISO and API standards used in production and quality processes is considered beneficial.
Education
A degree or diploma in engineering is preferred.
Physical and work environment requirements
- Work involves light physical effort and moderate manual dexterity.
- The role is mainly office-based and includes use of standard office equipment.
- Extended periods of sitting may be required.
- Occasional site visits may involve walking, climbing ladders, and general movement in the field.
