Role Summary

The Project Management Advisor will support project setup, planning, execution, monitoring, closure, and financial follow-up. This role works closely with senior project managers, clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to keep projects organized, documented, and aligned with business goals.

What You Will Do

  • Review early project documents such as contract details and proposal summaries in the CRM to help ensure the information is accurate and ready for the next stage.
  • Examine contracts, RFPs, technical proposals, and profitability matrices to confirm project alignment with business objectives and financial viability.
  • Coordinate with senior project managers and stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables while ensuring the work is technically feasible and scope changes are controlled.
  • Build detailed project plans covering timelines, milestones, and resource assignments using project management tools.
  • Divide projects into phases, stages, and tasks, then enter them correctly into the assigned project tracking system.
  • Support day-to-day execution by facilitating communication among internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress against schedule and budget, identify variances, and prepare status updates.
  • Apply approved project changes through formal change-control and verification processes.
  • Identify and help secure the human and technical resources needed for project delivery.
  • Act as a main contact point for clients and internal stakeholders, providing updates, handling questions, and keeping everyone aligned.
  • Join client meetings to capture detailed requirements, clarify expectations, and document discussions thoroughly.
  • Distribute project information and documentation to the right stakeholders to maintain consistency and avoid misunderstandings.
  • Support phase-wise deliverable review and formal client acceptance by collecting sign-offs.
  • Assist in preparing project closure reports and obtaining final approval from clients.
  • Compare project results with short-term and long-term targets using KPIs to evaluate success and identify improvement areas.
  • Track project spending against budget and recommend corrective actions when needed.
  • Assist the collections team after sign-off by providing project documents or context to resolve payment-related issues and support financial closure.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in technical project management.
  • PMP or PRINCE II certification is preferred, though not required.
  • Agile certification, such as Scrum Master, is an added advantage.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with project management methods and tools.
  • Strong communication skills for both client interactions and internal coordination.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar planning software.
  • Exposure to cloud, IT service management, security, and unified communications implementation projects.
  • Basic understanding of Agile practices.
  • Developing negotiation ability.
  • Basic skills in data analysis.
