Company Overview

Its team of engineers and scientists helps deliver projects from early concept and planning through execution and operational readiness, with a focus on plant facility start-up and successful project outcomes.
Role Summary
The organisation is looking for an experienced Project Manager with background in drug product or drug substance work to steer complex, cross-functional programs in a dynamic biopharma setting. The position plays a key role in coordinating delivery across several sites while keeping technical work, business needs, and regulatory obligations aligned.
Responsibilities
- Steer cross-functional teams operating across multiple sites to deliver projects successfully and support business integration.
- Convert customer and internal business needs into clear project scope statements that are approved and actionable.
- Work with functional managers to identify, define, and size resource needs.
- Create, update, and run detailed project schedules and plans to meet agreed scope, timeline, and budget targets.
- Run regular project meetings that promote ownership, alignment, and timely decisions.
- Set up and maintain communication approaches that keep all stakeholders and sites informed.
- Spot project risks early, evaluate their impact, and apply mitigation measures to reduce business disruption.
- Handle cost estimates, budgeting, and forecasting while staying within approved financial plans.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and shape engagement plans that support strong decisions and project success.
- Assist with GMP documentation work and change control activities according to site procedures; training will be provided on Waterford GMP systems.
Experience and Skills
The role requires prior biopharma project or programme leadership experience, along with a solid record of managing projects or programs in drug substance or drug product environments. Knowledge of cGMP and GLP frameworks is important, and candidates should bring strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capability. A project management certification such as PMI or PMP is preferred.
