Project Manager – Digital Transformation

Role summary

The organisation is seeking a Project Manager who can pair strategic thinking with practical delivery. Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from early concept through to completion, making sure they stay aligned with business goals, schedules, and budgets.
• Partner with stakeholders across different functions to uncover improvement opportunities and shape project requirements.
• Lead both major transformation work and shorter-term enhancement initiatives.
• Bring together cross-functional teams and keep communication, accountability, and tracking of progress clear and consistent.
• Oversee risks, dependencies, resources, and governance across the full project lifecycle.
• Serve as a central contact point between business teams, delivery teams, external partners, and senior leaders.
• Support improvements to customer-facing platforms, digital services, and end-to-end customer journeys.
• Contribute to work involving AI, automation, process improvement, and innovation.
• Promote Agile working practices and encourage continuous improvement.
• Identify ways technology and better processes can improve efficiency and customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Background in managing projects, programmes, change activity, or business improvement work.
• Solid knowledge of Agile methods and iterative delivery.
• Experience in digital, transformation, customer experience, operational improvement, or technology-led environments.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Capability to balance strategic planning with hands-on day-to-day delivery.
• Comfort working through uncertainty and shifting priorities.
• Good organisational ability, along with sound problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with customer-facing products, platforms, or services is a strong advantage.
• Exposure to AI, automation, data-led work, or digital transformation initiatives would be beneficial.
