Role overview

This opportunity is shared on behalf of a partner organization that handles the application review and all subsequent hiring steps. The hiring company is seeking a Project Manager, Professional Services in the United States.

The role is focused on driving successful client implementations and ensuring professional services engagements are delivered with accuracy, efficiency, and strong alignment across stakeholders. You will own projects from initial planning and scope definition through execution and final handoff, while coordinating closely with cross-functional contributors to keep schedules, budgets, and quality standards on track. In this position, you will serve as the main point of contact between internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and visibility at every stage. The environment is fast-moving and technology-centered, requiring a blend of structure, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple priorities at once. This is a high-impact role where organized leadership contributes directly to customer outcomes and operational performance.

Key accountabilities

  • Create and keep updated detailed project plans covering scope, schedules, budgets, resource planning, and success measures in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
  • Direct cross-functional project teams by providing guidance, coordination, and consistent support across the entire project lifecycle.
  • Spot project risks early, evaluate their impact, and put mitigation and contingency plans in place to support successful delivery.
  • Track project spend and budgets, monitor expenditures, and share accurate financial and status updates with stakeholders.
  • Manage communication and expectations across internal and external groups so everyone stays aligned on goals, progress, and deliverables.
  • Lead change control activities, reviewing how scope changes affect time, cost, and resourcing.
  • Protect delivery quality by ensuring outputs meet defined standards and customer expectations.
  • Keep thorough project records, including plans, reports, capacity forecasts, and post-implementation reviews.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of project management experience, preferably in technology, software, or engineering settings.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives from kickoff through completion in fast-changing environments.
  • Working knowledge of project delivery approaches such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum, plus familiarity with the SDLC.
  • Experience with project tracking tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics in business-friendly terms.
  • Solid leadership and coordination skills with an emphasis on teamwork, motivation, and performance.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization abilities, with the capacity to manage several concurrent projects.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, paired with a practical, solutions-first approach.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent hands-on experience; PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP certification is preferred.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay aligned with experience and market standards.
  • Fully remote setup with flexibility and better work-life balance.
  • Opportunity to lead complex, high-impact professional services work in a technology-focused environment.
  • Exposure to cross-functional collaboration and a variety of client engagements.
  • Professional growth opportunities, including support for project management certifications.
  • Inclusive, collaborative team culture centered on continuous improvement and strong performance.
  • Access to modern tools and project management systems that help streamline delivery.
  • Strong focus on autonomy, ownership, and long-term career growth within professional services delivery.
