Job description

Role Overview

This temporary Project Manager position supports a premier healthcare client and is responsible for steering assignments from kickoff through final delivery. The role focuses on keeping work on schedule, within scope, and aligned to budget expectations. It calls for strong analytical judgment and the ability to independently determine the best approach for moving work forward.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build, refine, and maintain project trackers, timelines, and the supporting tools used to manage delivery.
  • Run the full meeting workflow, including agenda preparation, note capture, sharing follow-ups, and monitoring action items through completion.
  • Compile weekly updates across workstreams and distribute them to strengthen visibility and alignment across teams; assist with materials for executive-level reporting.
  • Maintain the central project hub as the primary source for deliverables, documentation, and ongoing asset revisions.
  • Serve as the main coordination point for stakeholder data requests and collect required documents from multiple groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Less than 5 years of experience in technical project management.
  • Hands-on experience with project tracking and productivity tools such as SharePoint, Lucid, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic familiarity with content management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn detailed project information into short, actionable leadership updates.
  • Highly organized approach with the ability to manage several priorities at once and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Background

Experience working within a Medicaid managed care organization is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The target pay range for this position is $49 to $55 per hour. Final compensation may vary based on education, relevant experience, certifications, and location.
