Company Overview

Mondrian Singapore Duxton is the first Mondrian property in Singapore and is part of the Ennismore hospitality portfolio. Set in the Duxton Hill neighbourhood near the Central Business District, the hotel sits within a lively dining and nightlife district and features 302 rooms, broad views through floor-to-ceiling windows, a rooftop pool, and a range of bars and restaurants.

Role Summary

Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, you will help keep the public areas running smoothly and in line with hotel standards.

Key Duties

  • Keep all public washrooms and toilets clean, fresh, and fully supplied throughout the day.
  • Inspect every restroom at least once every 30 minutes during your shift to maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Collect towels from laundry, fold them neatly, and place them in the restrooms.
  • Send used towels and soiled linens back to laundry for cleaning.
  • Wipe down walls, doors, and tabletops in the lobby and other public spaces whenever needed during the shift.
  • Empty and clean waste bins in shared areas.
  • Stay aware of events and functions taking place in the hotel.
  • Ensure public-area telephones remain clean and functional.
  • Keep furniture and equipment in usable condition and report any faults right away.
  • Escalate maintenance issues to the Housekeeping office immediately.
  • Respond to guest questions and requests efficiently, and resolve complaints quickly with proper follow-up.
  • Follow key-control procedures and take responsibility for all assigned keys.
  • Submit all lost property and follow the hotel’s lost-and-found process.
  • Make sure all tools and materials are clean and in working order, and report defects without delay.
  • Support colleagues with similar or related tasks whenever needed.
  • Complete projects and assignments given by the Director of Housekeeping.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Carry out any reasonable request or special assignment from management.
