Job description

About the Company

Resourcify is working to eliminate waste by helping businesses move toward a more circular way of operating. The company combines software with recycling and take-back services to support product recovery and circularity reporting. Its customers include well-known global brands, and the business operates across 19 countries as a Series B company headquartered in Germany.

Role Overview

As the Quality & Regulatory Affairs Manager, you will establish and lead the quality and compliance framework that supports Resourcify’s growth across EMEA and the US. You will be responsible for shaping internal quality assurance, translating regulatory needs into practical operating standards, and ensuring the company remains compliant as it scales.

This is a part-time role of 20 hours per week, with the possibility of expanding to 40 hours per week in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, roll out, and continuously strengthen the Quality Management System, including standard operating procedures, process records, and document control practices.
  • Set up and carry out internal audits for operational workflows, and drive corrective and preventive actions where improvements are needed.
  • Support the Solutions team when new markets or partner arrangements are being planned by defining compliance expectations early in the process.
  • Take end-to-end responsibility for enforcing compliance standards in Operations, including the qualification, audit, and monitoring of recycling and collection partners.
  • Build and maintain partner governance processes such as supplier audit schedules and follow-up on remediation actions.
  • Track regulatory changes in active markets and keep the organization aligned with current obligations in a scalable and organized manner.
  • Own the documentation needed for ISO certifications, insurer reviews, enterprise customer requirements, and external audits.
  • Act as the main internal expert for quality and regulatory matters.

Requirements

  • Proven background in building or managing a Quality Management System.
  • Experience running or overseeing supplier and third-party audits.
  • Confidence in creating and maintaining SOPs, process documentation, and document control systems.
  • Ability to bring clarity and structure to complex operational setups and improve them over time.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Independent, accountable, and practical in day-to-day execution.
  • Fluency in English is required; German is a strong advantage.
  • Additional experience that would be beneficial includes work in pharma, med-tech, or another highly regulated field, as well as exposure to certification bodies, enterprise audits, insurer requirements, ISO 9001/14001, sustainability, recycling, waste management, circular economy topics, or a fast-growing startup/scale-up environment.

Benefits

  • Join a fast-growing company with a mission focused on sustainability and impact.
  • Flexible working hours with a high degree of autonomy.
  • 30+ vacation days, plus extra flexibility when needed for a five-day work week.
  • Remote-first setup within Germany, with employment options in Austria.
  • Access to attractive office spaces in Hamburg and Berlin.
  • Workation opportunities of up to three months.
  • Annual company offsites and regular team events.
  • High-quality equipment and a home office budget.
  • A collaborative team culture built on mutual support.
