Role Overview

The company is hiring a detail-driven Quantity Surveyor / Estimator cum Sales Coordinator for its Umm Al Quwain location. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and bills of quantities.
• Carry out quantity take-offs from drawings and technical specifications.
• Evaluate quotations received from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support tendering activities and project cost preparation.
• Work closely with sales, engineering, procurement, and production teams to keep information aligned.
• Respond to customer enquiries and assist throughout the sales cycle.
• Compile cost reports and contribute to value engineering efforts.
• Maintain precision in pricing, records, and project budget documentation.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in quantity surveying, estimation, or sales coordination.
• Prior exposure to prefab structures, modular buildings, GRP, steel fabrication, construction, or similar sectors is preferred.
• A diploma or degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or a comparable discipline.
• Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical thinking and numerical ability.
• Good command of MS Excel; familiarity with estimation or QS tools is an added advantage.
• Clear communication and strong coordination skills.
• Must be organized, proactive, and willing to learn.
