Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Technical Recruiter position in Madurai. The person in this role will handle the complete hiring cycle for technical and IT positions, from finding talent and screening profiles to creating shortlists and supporting the interview process. The job also involves working closely with hiring managers, keeping communication smooth across stakeholders, maintaining active talent pipelines, and making sure candidates have a positive experience from first contact through onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the full recruitment process for technical and IT openings, including sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews while keeping candidates and internal teams informed.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role needs and turn them into clear, effective job descriptions.
- Build and maintain healthy candidate pipelines for current and future requirements.
- Use recruitment tools, ATS platforms, social media, and networking methods to find qualified talent.
- Support a smooth and professional candidate journey from first interaction to onboarding.
Requirements
- Strong experience in full-cycle recruiting and end-to-end hiring.
- Working knowledge of technical recruiting and hiring for IT or engineering roles.
- Excellent communication skills for candidate engagement and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience with ATS systems, recruitment platforms, social sourcing, and networking.
- Good understanding of software development, IT functions, and current industry trends.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-moving environment and manage priorities within hiring timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Preferred experience of 2 years as a technical recruiter or IT recruiter in a consulting or technology company.
