Job description

Role overview

This position is for a proactive recruitment professional with strong knowledge of factory hiring and established contacts in the market. The job is practical, field-oriented, and centered on sourcing large numbers of factory workers, artisans, and semi-skilled operators.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage large-scale hiring campaigns for factory laborers, artisans, and operational personnel.
  • Carry out mass screening sessions, interviews, candidate shortlisting, and coordination for deployment.
  • Assist with sourcing and hiring for skilled positions when the need arises.
  • Run community-based recruitment efforts in target locations.
  • Work with local leaders and community contacts to identify suitable candidates.
  • Act as the company representative during hiring events, walk-in sessions, and community outreach activities.
  • Keep recruitment logs, records, and daily hiring trackers accurate and up to date.
  • Support documentation for onboarding and verify that candidates complete all joining requirements.
  • Enter and refresh recruitment information promptly and assist with related hiring processes.
  • Maintain proper recruitment practice, ethics, and compliance throughout the process.

Required qualifications

  • At least 3 to 5 years of recruitment experience, ideally in manufacturing, manpower supply, outsourcing, or industrial hiring.
  • Solid understanding of factory workforce requirements in Ghana.
  • Comfortable working with limited supervision and taking ownership of tasks.
  • Strong spoken and written English; knowledge of local languages is a major advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Additional information

This is a hands-on, field-based role in Takoradi, Western Region, Ghana. The ideal candidate should be comfortable engaging communities directly and handling recruitment activity at scale.
