About The Role
Cohere is seeking a high-performing Recruitment Coordinator who is eager to take on new and demanding challenges. The ideal candidate will be resilient, collaborative, and influential, with a passion for supporting dynamic hiring processes. In this role, you will act as a vital liaison between hiring managers, the Talent Team, the People Team, and other stakeholders. You will be the primary internal and external point of contact for candidates, managing the end-to-end interview process and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. Your responsibilities will include coordinating interview schedules, building strong relationships with candidates and internal teams, supporting onboarding and payroll processes, and maintaining accurate documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring teams to ensure a smooth process
- Manage the candidate experience by building strong relationships and providing timely updates
- Partner closely with Executive Assistants and internal teams to support interview logistics and administrative needs
- Support and optimize the interview process, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
- Provide regular status updates, answer inquiries, and ensure timely follow-up with candidates and stakeholders
- Assist with payroll, onboarding, and contract management processes as needed
- Maintain and update internal documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Support high-touch recruitment initiatives and contribute to continuous process improvements
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience supporting a fast-paced recruitment team
- Previous experience working within a technology start-up or scale-up environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple calendars and support a high volume of interviews
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in time management and communication
- Capacity to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact and discretion
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and levels
- Prior experience supporting onboarding, payroll, and contract employee initiatives is advantageous
