Role overview
Precoa is hiring a Regional Manager in Chicago to guide a growing team of Advance Funeral Planners across the Chicagoland area. This position is centered on scaling business results while respecting the sensitive, personal nature of advance funeral planning.
The right candidate will be a commercially minded leader who is comfortable owning outcomes, developing people, and growing a market with both confidence and empathy. The role offers meaningful autonomy, collaboration with leadership, and the chance to shape momentum in an expanding region.
What you'll do
- Lead and develop a performance-oriented team of 5+ Advance Funeral Planners by coaching for results, reinforcing accountability, and keeping the group focused on growth.
- Partner closely with enterprise leaders and local funeral home managers to bring structure, direction, and progress to a fast-growing territory.
- Contribute to sales execution directly when needed, set the standard for effective selling, and maintain a balance of strong performance with genuine care.
- Create practical, scalable operating systems, solve problems quickly, and adapt your approach as opportunities emerge in the Chicago market.
- Use territorial travel to strengthen partnerships and maximize market potential; overnight travel is expected to be minimal.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or an equivalent level of professional experience is preferred.
- A current life insurance license, or the ability to obtain one, is preferred.
- At least 4 years of experience in sales leadership or people management is preferred.
- You should be entrepreneurial, self-directed, and comfortable working through ambiguity.
- Willingness to travel for work is important for success in this position.
