About the Role

Golden Equity Investments is looking for a Research Manager to take charge of research programs in a remote, full-time capacity based in the United Arab Emirates. This position suits a mid- to senior-level professional who can combine structured research methods, data analysis, and business understanding to produce insights that guide strategic decisions and long-term planning.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise and support a team of research analysts and associates, providing direction and mentorship.
  • Plan and run qualitative as well as quantitative research projects from start to finish.
  • Create research approaches, frameworks, and data collection plans suited to each study.
  • Review market, customer, competitor, and industry information to uncover meaningful trends and insights.
  • Develop research outputs such as reports, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.
  • Work closely with leadership, product, marketing, and strategy stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Carry out surveys, interviews, focus groups, and desk research as needed.
  • Check that findings are accurate, dependable, and methodologically sound.
  • Handle project schedules, budgets, and third-party vendors when required.
  • Turn research outcomes into practical recommendations that can be applied to the business.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Market Research, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, Data Science, or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in research, market intelligence, business analysis, or a closely related area.
  • Preferably 2 or more years in a leadership or management position.
  • Strong analytical judgment and critical thinking, with the ability to make sense of complex datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with research methods, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Comfort using Excel, SPSS, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable tools.
  • Excellent report writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage research assignments through the full lifecycle, from planning to final delivery.
  • Capability to convert analysis into strategic business recommendations.
  • Ability to work effectively on your own in a remote setting.
