About the Role
The Gleneagle Group is seeking a Reservations Agent to join their Central Reservations Department. This role involves being the primary point of contact for guests, managing inquiries and bookings for Gleneagle, Gleneagle River Apartments, and The Maritime Hotel, as well as processing ticket sales for events at Gleneagle Arena and other venues.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service while managing reservations and guest inquiries.
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of hotel and event bookings.
- Collaborate effectively within a supportive team environment.
Working Hours & Schedule
- The position requires working 5 days a week, encompassing weekends.
- Shifts will fall between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with no earlier or later hours.
- Weekend shifts are distributed on a rotational basis among team members.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in a guest-facing role within the hospitality sector or business administration is required.
- While not essential, prior experience in front office or reception duties is advantageous.
- Must be proficient with various software applications, email, and word processing tools.
- Possess excellent communication abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a strong customer-centric approach.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a cooperative atmosphere.
- Maintain a confident and professional demeanor during reservation calls, offering friendly and informative assistance.
