Role overview
This opportunity is for a guest-centric revenue professional who can help deliver high standards of service and practical solutions for guests. The position focuses on keeping reservation activities coordinated, accurate, and aligned with smooth day-to-day hotel operations.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and distribute departmental tasks so reservation work is completed efficiently and in an organized manner.
- Support the onboarding and ongoing training of both new and existing reservation agents, ensuring they understand procedures and daily duties.
- Maintain clear communication between departments and manage shift handovers so guest reservations, guest satisfaction, visa status, arrival checks, and reservation logs are handled properly.
- Monitor group bookings and understand how they affect sales strategy, inventory accuracy, and booking barriers caused by inventory changes or weak inventory controls.
- Share department issues and improvement ideas with the Reservation Manager, Revenue Manager, or other reporting managers, and assist with scheduling to support timely operations.
- Make sure all incoming calls are answered according to hotel standards, faxes are entered correctly, and incoming emails are reviewed continuously.
- Arrange guest transportation with the hotel driver and follow up on related details.
- Respond to all reservation inquiries in line with approved company policies and procedures.
Education and experience
A degree in hospitality is required, along with prior experience in hotel reservations. Strong computer skills are expected, and you should have excellent written and spoken English. Additional language abilities will be considered an advantage.
