Job description

Role Overview

Crown Affair is hiring a highly organized and proactive Retail Marketing Coordinator to help execute retail marketing and sales operations, with a particular focus on Sephora. This position is suited to someone who wants to grow a career in prestige beauty retail marketing and gain hands-on exposure to retailer marketing, product launches, merchandising, sales support, and cross-functional brand work in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

The role partners closely with the Manager, Retail Marketing & Sales and collaborates with teams across Brand, Creative, Product Marketing, Operations, and Education to bring retail plans to life.

Core Responsibilities

  • Help plan and deliver retailer marketing initiatives across Sephora and other key retail partners, keeping work on schedule and aligned with both brand and retailer goals.
  • Assist with product launches, retail campaigns, promotional events, sampling programs, and seasonal initiatives, turning brand strategy into retailer-facing execution.
  • Prepare and submit retailer launch assets such as product details, pricing, imagery, copy, timelines, and operational documentation to support smooth launches.
  • Keep internal and external calendars, trackers, and timelines current so milestones and deliverables stay organized and on track.
  • Handle retailer requests and communications with prompt follow-up and execution across accounts.
  • Support the creation of retailer meeting decks, presentation materials, and post-meeting recaps.
  • Assist with sales reporting by maintaining trackers, monitoring promotional performance, and reviewing retailer placement data for planning and recap purposes.
  • Conduct competitive reviews and market research to surface opportunities in the prestige beauty space.
  • Create visual merchandising briefs for fixture updates, animations, and in-store marketing support, ensuring stakeholder alignment and accuracy.
  • Coordinate asset uploads and copy changes across retailer platforms so product pages reflect current brand standards and launch timing.
  • Audit product pages on retailer sites to maintain accuracy, consistency, and merchandising alignment, and help close content gaps when needed.
  • Track ratings, reviews, and customer sentiment on retailer pages and flag meaningful trends or feedback themes.
  • Organize cross-functional feedback loops between internal teams and creative partners to keep assets moving on time.
  • Support launch planning and execution across retail accounts by working with Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Operations, Education, Sales, and external retail partners.
  • Monitor timelines and milestones across multiple projects, identify risks early, follow up on outstanding items, and keep teams aligned to deadlines.
  • Help coordinate store events, retail activations, conferences, trainings, and experiential marketing efforts, including logistics, timelines, creative assets, shipping, and vendor communication as needed.
  • Assist with sampling, gratis, gift-with-purchase, and seeding programs in partnership with Operations and Supply Chain, making sure inventory, timing, and retailer requirements are met.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure retail initiatives support broader marketing campaigns and business priorities.
  • Look for ways to improve workflows, documentation, and cross-functional processes to strengthen efficiency and operational excellence within Retail Marketing.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a similar discipline.
  • 1–2 years of experience in retail marketing, trade marketing, ecommerce, merchandising, sales support, or a comparable area.
  • Prior exposure to Sephora or the prestige beauty retail environment is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace; familiarity with Asana or another project management platform is a plus.
  • Excellent organization, written communication, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage several deadlines at once while staying accurate and detail-focused.
  • Strong interest in prestige beauty, retail, and the evolving Sephora ecosystem.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to partner across teams.
  • U.S. work authorization is required.
