Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site Retail Sales Assistant position based in Phnom Penh. The role centers on greeting shoppers, identifying what they need, and suggesting suitable travel products and luggage from the Samsonite brand family. It also includes operating the point of sale, handling cash and electronic payments, issuing receipts, and keeping transaction records accurate.

Key Duties

• Welcome customers warmly and offer helpful, solution-oriented assistance.
• Understand customer preferences and recommend appropriate products.
• Process sales through the POS system and manage cash or digital payments accurately.
• Provide receipts and maintain correct transaction documentation.
• Keep the shop floor neat, organized, and aligned with brand presentation standards.
• Restock merchandise and arrange product displays attractively.
• Respond to customer questions and support exchanges or returns according to company rules.
• Assist with promotions, campaigns, and in-store activities.
• Work with the store team to support sales goals and deliver a strong customer experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a retail setting on-site in Phnom Penh, including weekends and public holidays when needed. Basic math and POS confidence are important, along with care in handling payments and records. The job may require standing for long periods and doing light physical tasks such as stocking and setting up displays. Experience in retail, fashion, luggage, or consumer goods would be helpful, but it is not essential. A dependable, punctual, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn about products and promotions are also important.
