About the opportunity
This opening is for a Revenue Management Manager based in Gurugram and reporting to the Director of Revenue Management.
About the function
myPartner is a strategic business unit within the MakeMyTrip Group, launched in 2020 to provide travel agents across India with reliable, real-time inventory and pricing for domestic and international hotels, flights, and holiday packages. The business has grown quickly and now works with more than 45,000 active travel agent partners in India, along with another 2,500 in the UAE. The team continues to build new solutions to meet changing partner needs and help drive their business growth.
Role overview
As part of the myPartner Online Revenue team, you will help manage revenue, accelerate growth, and improve profitability. The role calls for a self-driven, quick-thinking, entrepreneurial professional who is curious, analytical, and comfortable working across functions. You should be able to balance creativity with structure, work to tight timelines, and deliver high-quality output under pressure.
P&L management and growth ownership
- Shape the short- and long-term growth roadmap for the business while coordinating with multiple cross-functional teams.
- Own the business P&L and build plans to meet revenue targets.
- Actively manage revenue levers to hit daily goals for margin, conversion, and transactions.
- Lead conversations on strategic partnerships and run tactical marketing initiatives.
- Monitor key performance metrics and keep tight control over business KPIs.
- Study competitor pricing in depth and use those insights to refine category pricing.
- Interpret demand and traffic trends to guide business and marketing decisions.
- Partner with marketing teams to create and launch customer engagement campaigns.
- Assess new markets and customer segments, working with stakeholders to improve conversion.
- Work with product teams to enhance conversion for the hotels platform.
- Push automation and process improvements in pricing, reporting, and alerting systems.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure post-sale activities run smoothly.
Data analytics
- Build and update interactive dashboards and visualisations using multiple data sources.
- Use statistical analysis to answer business questions and surface actionable insights.
- Identify what drives performance and recommend ways to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications and experience
An MBA from a reputed institute is required, along with 4 to 6 years of experience in revenue management or category management in a consumer-facing, technology-led business, preferably in e-commerce.
