Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and adhering to InterContinental Hotels Group and local hotel policies, your primary responsibility is to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of assigned outlets, public areas, service areas, offices, and staff facilities.

Relationships

You will report directly to the Public Area Supervisor or their delegate. Your role involves interaction with guests, housekeeping subordinates, peers, superiors, and staff from other departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas according to established standards.
• Report any damages or maintenance issues to your superior.
• Notify your supervisor of any unusual behavior or activities observed.
• Ensure all equipment is kept in proper working order.
• Undertake related duties and special projects as assigned by management.
