About the role

At Le Méridien München, the Rooms Controller role sits at the center of room optimization and operational coordination. Based in Munich, this full-time position begins immediately and offers a gross salary in the range of €3,016 to €3,637.

In this position, you help maximize occupancy across all room categories by monitoring reservations, keeping systems properly balanced, and maintaining a sharp eye for detail in group arrivals and invoice checks. You act as a key point of contact for Front Office, Events, Sales, and Accounting, providing dependable support and helping drive strong paid occupancy results through a structured and strategic approach.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate room inventory so that all categories are used as effectively as possible.
• Review and manage reservations while keeping the relevant systems balanced.
• Track group arrivals carefully and ensure important details are not missed.
• Support invoice verification and related control tasks.
• Serve as the main contact for Front Office, Events, Sales, and Accounting.
• Contribute to achieving the best possible paid occupancy outcomes.
• Work in line with Marriott standards and maintain a clear overall view in daily operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Rooms Controller or in Reservations or Front Office is required.
• Hands-on experience with Opera is expected.
• Exposure to Marriott systems such as MARSHA and EMPOWER is an advantage.
• Strong organizational ability and the capacity to stay composed while managing multiple details are important.
• A team-oriented mindset is essential.
• Very good German and English language skills are required.
