Role overview

The Wine Shop is seeking a polished and enthusiastic sales professional to become part of the team in Ancaster, Ontario. The ideal person will be committed to creating an excellent shopping experience and providing every guest with attentive, high-quality service.

What the role involves

• Deliver a consistently high standard of customer care and make sure each shopper leaves satisfied.
• Support customers with purchases and share product details when needed.
• Help receive product deliveries and keep displays organized through merchandising activities, along with light shelf and display cleaning.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and security procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively as a supportive team member and contribute fairly to shared goals.

What the employer is looking for

• A strong focus on guest satisfaction and a track record of excellent customer service.
• Prior exposure to computer-based point-of-sale systems and cash handling is considered an advantage.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Comfort using Windows-based applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Availability for varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 40 lbs as part of the job.
