Role overview
As a Sales Associate in a luxury retail setting, you will help create a polished and memorable experience for clients while representing the brand with sophistication and care. The role is focused on building strong client relationships, driving sales, and maintaining the highest standards across store presentation and operations.
Client engagement
- Guide clients through the complete selling process, including follow-up after the sale, while using clienteling to create a personalized and memorable shopping journey.
- Welcome clients from different backgrounds, make them feel comfortable, and build lasting loyalty by sharing the story and inspiration behind each collection.
- Track customer preferences and prior purchases to suggest tailored recommendations and keep client details updated in internal systems.
Sales focus
- Work actively toward meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Spot additional selling opportunities by understanding each client’s specific needs.
Brand representation
- Present yourself in line with luxury dress and behavior expectations so the brand image is reflected at all times.
- Help maintain the refined atmosphere of the boutique.
- Keep up with current developments and trends in luxury fashion.
Store operations
- Take part in inventory handling, cycle counts, and receiving goods to support smooth and efficient store operations.
- Use the POS system accurately and confidently.
- Support visual merchandising standards according to brand guidelines and share ideas with the VM team to improve sales potential.
- Help ensure the back-of-house area is organized and stock is managed properly.
- Contribute to the upkeep and functional condition of the store.
Teamwork
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to support day-to-day business activities.
- Participate in training sessions and the rollout of new tools or processes.
- Communicate openly, positively, and constructively with team members.
Profile
- At least 2 years of experience in fashion or luxury retail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a strong customer focus.
- Comfortable speaking English fluently; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Genuine interest in fashion and delivering an excellent client experience.
- Strong team spirit, entrepreneurial drive, and resilience.
- Adaptable, improvement-oriented, and open to testing new ideas and approaches.
