Role overview

This is a full-time, immediate opening based in Australia for a Sales Development Representative focused on enterprise accounts. The position is highly visible within a large-scale SaaS environment and is intended for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building relationships, and creating qualified opportunities for the sales team.

As the first point of contact for many prospective clients, you will communicate how the platform simplifies planning, forecasting, modeling, and budgeting. The role centers on lead generation, account-based outreach, qualification, and booking introductory meetings and product demonstrations for the direct sales organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Research and prospect enterprise accounts to create and qualify sales opportunities.
  • Identify decision-makers, understand business pain points, and connect with the appropriate account contacts.
  • Respond quickly to marketing-qualified leads, inbound enquiries, and event-related interest.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, email, and other digital outreach methods.
  • Build trust with prospects and learn to run value-focused conversations.
  • Partner with field sales teams to execute account-based development strategies aimed at the right buyer at the right time with the right message.
  • Track performance against weekly and monthly goals for calls, meetings, forecasts, and pipeline creation.

What the employer is looking for

  • Preference for experience in enterprise software, especially SaaS or cloud applications.
  • Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new prospecting tools and systems.

  • High energy, persistence, initiative, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of calls.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
