About the Opportunity

A growing commercial operation in Qatar is seeking a Sales Export Manager to support its expanding presence across the Middle East and other international markets. The position has been created to strengthen export activity, deepen customer engagement, and improve market insight and strategic sales execution.

Role Overview

In this position, you will help steer export sales across several markets. Your focus will be on building sales plans, growing important accounts, uncovering fresh business prospects, and keeping the company’s offerings competitive and aligned with customer demand. The role has a direct influence on revenue growth, client satisfaction, and the organization’s longer-term market position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement export sales plans using prior performance, company direction, and current market movements.
  • Oversee sales activity to ensure targets and business goals are met.
  • Take part in significant contract conversations and negotiations with major customers.
  • Generate new business through networking, prospecting, and consistent client follow-up.
  • Support key account management and contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the coordination point between sales, tendering, supply chain, and plant teams so customer needs, contract terms, and product availability stay aligned.
  • Prepare and share regular updates for management on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Track competitors and market dynamics, including pricing, products, and delivery timelines.
  • Handle customer complaints by investigating issues and recommending practical solutions.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant should hold an Electrical Engineering degree, preferably, and bring relevant exposure to the cables industry, utilities, or oil and gas. A solid understanding of Middle Eastern markets is important, along with a proven sales background that includes developing opportunities and closing deals. The role also calls for a customer-first mindset, strong market awareness, and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
