Everlast Gyms is looking for a Sales Host to be the welcoming presence at the front of the club. This role goes beyond standard reception work and blends customer service, sales support, club operations, and member engagement. You will help attract and retain members, contribute to the day-to-day running of the club, and support the team in creating a strong experience for everyone who visits.
What you will do
- Greet members and visitors in a warm, professional way and help ensure each interaction feels positive.
- Support membership growth and retention by offering helpful guidance and excellent service.
- Promote in-club products and services to help improve secondary spend results.
- Keep the club clean and hygienic to a consistently high standard.
- Work as a responsible key holder, including opening and closing the club when required.
- Carry out admin tasks and use the membership software system confidently.
- Stay up to date with fitness challenges, classes, and gym floor activity, and participate where needed to encourage member involvement.
- Assist the Fitness Manager and wider team with gym floor initiatives and club activities.
- Deal with member comments and complaints in a professional manner and escalate issues appropriately.
- Use the club’s products and services yourself so you can explain and recommend them with confidence.

You should be upbeat, outgoing, and committed to providing great customer experiences. The role suits someone who is comfortable with administration, confident working with daily club systems, and motivated by sales and retention targets. Flexibility is important, as shifts may vary and the role may include operational and key holder duties. A genuine interest in fitness and a willingness to learn, develop, and grow into future opportunities are also important.
