Role overview

PSA BDP is seeking a Sales Manager in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. In this position, you will own the growth of revenue and market share across both existing accounts and new business opportunities. The role also focuses on strengthening business development practices for assigned services and products, with an emphasis on effective sales execution in the territory.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and follow-up actions for sales leads and customer responses, including RFP submissions.
  • Create and roll out sales strategies and campaigns that help capture market opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly and annual budgets and reports, while working toward budget targets.
  • Develop strong relationships with important decision-makers inside customer organizations to uncover new value opportunities.
  • Work closely with sales and operations leaders to design practical, creative solutions that address customer needs and drive value creation.
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities to grow revenue and deepen market penetration.
  • Conduct regular client meetings together with relevant operations teams to review performance, gather feedback, and understand upcoming customer challenges and plans.
  • Provide internal marketing support and product/service knowledge across the organization.
  • Take preventive action before shipping to help ensure collections are received in the shortest possible time.
  • Consistently meet and exceed performance objectives.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related area is preferred, though a suitable mix of education and work experience may also be considered.
  • A confident, engaging, and charismatic personality is expected, along with a strong work ethic.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the industry is preferred.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft tools is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, plus the capability to assess situations and make sound decisions from available information.
  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
