Role Overview
As a Scale Attendant, you will support daily scale-house operations, manage truck flow, capture accurate data, and assist with customer payments and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Run the weigh-station scale during the regular schedule of Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with extra hours when needed to cover other shifts.
- Record information accurately in the computer system.
- Use the speaker system to speak with drivers and confirm the type of material being unloaded.
- Guide trucks to the correct area on site.
- Accept customer payments when required.
- Take on other related tasks as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Fast and accurate data entry with a sharp eye for detail.
- Practical experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to work overtime when business needs require it, including statutory holidays and occasional Saturdays.
- Ability to remain seated for long stretches of time.
- Must clear all pre-employment checks and verifications.
