About the role
This contract opportunity is with a company that matches high-caliber creative and technical professionals with AI research teams. The work focuses on visual document understanding within applied sciences and is fully remote.
Role overview
The specialist will assess AI-produced scientific content and help improve the quality, rigor, and consistency of outputs across core science domains. Work is expected to be independent, asynchronous, and centered on feedback that improves model performance.
Responsibilities
- Check how accurate and how deeply AI-generated material covers topics in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Examine advanced scientific documents to confirm they follow the right domain concepts and methods.
- Share precise, well-organized feedback with AI teams to help raise training-data quality and improve downstream results.
- Create assessment rubrics and benchmarks for judging AI-generated scientific tasks and solutions.
- Partner with subject matter experts to keep datasets consistent, relevant, and broad in coverage.
- Manage work independently and asynchronously while meeting deadlines and supporting model improvements.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in at least one of the following: Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
- Prior experience evaluating AI models.
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
Compensation and engagement
The pay rate is $50 per hour. The expected commitment is 15–20 hours each week. This is a remote contract role.
