Role Overview
The Senior Account Manager will manage a portfolio of clients across the EMEA region, including business-to-business, third-party, and global accounts. This role calls for a proactive approach to client management, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to represent WPO professionally. A key part of the position is keeping existing business strong while also creating new revenue through upselling and expansion of WPO’s products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client accounts across the EMEA region and maintain consistent service quality.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and consultative cross-selling.
- Work closely with operations teams in global service centres.
- Coordinate with account managers in the US, Europe, and Asia as part of the global account management function, including collaboration across time zones when needed.
- Create and execute account plans covering portfolio review, client engagement cycles, retention, and growth activities.
- Build trusted client relationships by understanding business needs and consistently exceeding expectations.
- Drive portfolio growth through added-value sales of additional services and products against annual targets.
- Lead planning and onboarding activities for new clients and support ongoing initiatives for existing accounts.
- Provide utilization reports, trend insights, and advisory support to help clients get maximum value from services.
- Handle client requests related to contract renewals and tenders for the assigned portfolio.
- Strengthen relationships with colleagues across all WPO regions and contribute to business goals, projects, and wider initiatives.
- Take on any other role-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in management, business, or a related discipline.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic.
- Proven account management experience in the B2B services sector and/or with third-party resellers.
- Solid understanding of the core responsibilities involved in account management and the ability to apply them effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal ability, and professional presentation skills, including regular online and in-person presentations.
- Excellent planning, organization, and prioritization skills to meet multiple deadlines.
- Flexible mindset with creative problem-solving ability and an outside-the-box approach to client support.
- Comfort using computers, web-based tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a virtual, matrixed team.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position based in Dubai, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.
Languages
Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
