- Assess existing financial controls and workflows and refine them to improve efficiency, compliance, and risk management.
- Coordinate the lodgement schedule for a multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction group structure.
- Prepare GST/VAT returns and withholding tax submissions for relevant entities with the Inland Revenue Authority.
Required background
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, along with CA or CPA qualification.
- Background in Big 4 audit plus commercial accounting experience.
- Experience in fintech, digital assets, or other emerging financial technology environments.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and management accounting, with solid IFRS expertise.
- Ability to interpret, apply, and document accounting standards for new products and business lines.
- Hands-on experience preparing IFRS-compliant financial statements.
- Good understanding of finance and operations processes, including internal controls.
- Proven experience with month-end close, large-scale reconciliations, and deadline-driven work.
- Exposure to automation tools, accounting system rollouts, or broader process transformation work.
- Clear communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage reporting timelines, and improve efficiency.
- Resilience, flexibility, collaboration, integrity, and professionalism.
