The company is looking for a Senior Creative Strategist to join The Hive, its internal agency. This team exists to support the business and brand by developing creative work that builds meaning, shapes choice, and inspires action.

Within the Account team in Marketing’s Creative and Content organization, this role is central to raising creative standards across the enterprise and creating measurable business impact through integrated marketing efforts. The strategist will guide content and creative direction across brand systems and turn business goals plus audience understanding into campaign ideas that perform.

What you will do

  • Shape and deliver creative and content strategies for a wide brand portfolio, supporting both acquisition and engagement efforts across all channels.
  • Build productive working relationships with internal agency partners, marketing stakeholders, and outside agencies.
  • Direct customer-focused campaign thinking and help guide major conceptual checkpoints.
  • Apply performance marketing knowledge and research findings to develop effective creative approaches.
  • Use understanding of the business, market landscape, and competitors to inspire fresh ideas that support growth goals.
  • Make sure all work stays aligned to brand direction and business priorities while preserving execution quality.
  • Work closely with teammates throughout the process to deliver solutions that stay on strategy, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Keep campaigns, channels, and audience touchpoints consistent with the overall brand and campaign strategy as well as the client objective.

What we are looking for

  • A track record of creating solutions that lead to measurable outcomes.
  • Experience collaborating in hybrid or remote team environments.
  • Confidence presenting to senior leaders and influencing key decisions.
  • Success working in fast-moving, cross-functional, and highly matrixed organizations.
  • Proven ability to lead enterprise brand development and launches with consistency, scale, and ongoing optimization.

Preferred background

  • Master’s degree.
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working and team structures.
  • Experience using collaboration and diagramming tools such as Lucid.

Preferred locations include Arlington, VA; Louisville, KY; Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; New York, NY; Tampa, FL; Nashville, TN; Dallas, TX; Seattle, WA; Denver, CO; and Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Some in-office presence may be needed at times for collaboration, important meetings, and leadership interaction. Remote arrangements may be considered depending on the role requirements and the candidate’s background.

Reasonable accommodation is available for qualified individuals with disabilities. Candidates needing support may contact HR4U.

Home or hybrid work requirements

  • Minimum internet speed required: 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
  • A wired cable or DSL connection is preferred.
  • Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections need leadership approval.
  • Associates in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota receive bi-weekly reimbursement for internet expenses.
  • Telephone equipment is provided by Humana when business needs require it.
  • A dedicated workspace without interruptions is required to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
  • Although the role is remote, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be necessary.

Benefits and development
