Role Overview
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking a Senior Data Migration Lead / Manager to take full ownership of the data migration workstream within a large-scale enterprise transformation program in the UAE. The position involves shaping the migration approach, managing delivery, and coordinating stakeholders to move information from multiple legacy environments into the target enterprise platform while protecting data quality, compliance, and uninterrupted business operations.
The role calls for a seasoned leader with deep, practical experience in data migration, along with the ability to communicate and facilitate discussions in Arabic with government business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Own the complete data migration strategy and execution approach, aligned to the broader program schedule and key milestones.
Lead discovery activities such as profiling and assessment of legacy data sources across multiple systems.
Plan migration waves, cutover sequencing, reconciliation methods, and fallback/rollback arrangements.
Create and run a data governance framework covering ownership, stewardship, quality standards, and approval flows.
Drive cleansing, remediation, and enrichment activities in partnership with business data owners.
Set and monitor quality measures such as completeness, accuracy, and reconciliation results.
Ensure compliance with government expectations around security, confidentiality, data policies, and data residency.
Manage onsite and offshore migration teams, including ETL developers, analysts, and testers.
Take ownership of mapping, transformation logic, validation, reconciliation, and formal sign-off.
Oversee mock migrations, dress rehearsals, and final production cutovers.
Coordinate dependencies across functional, technical, integration, and testing workstreams.
Run data validation workshops, approval sessions, and governance meetings in both Arabic and English.
Present migration progress, risks, and key decisions to program leadership, steering groups, and executive forums.
Requirements
15 or more years of total IT experience, including at least 10 years in data migration or data management leadership.
Demonstrated success leading large ERP migration programs such as Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4HANA, or comparable platforms.
Strong practical exposure to data profiling, cleansing, mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and validation.
Hands-on experience with ETL platforms such as Informatica, ODI, Talend, or similar tools.
Experience coordinating delivery across multiple vendors and cross-functional teams.
Background with public sector or government organizations, preferably in the UAE or wider GCC region.
Sound understanding of government data governance, security, and compliance expectations.
Comfort working in Arabic-speaking business environments.
Arabic fluency is mandatory, both spoken and written.
English fluency is also required, both spoken and written.
