Job description

About the company

Jimmy Choo is a luxury accessories brand known for its craftsmanship and modern-glamour aesthetic. Founded in 1996, it began as a hand-made shoe atelier in East London and has since grown into a global name with artisanal quality at its core.

Role overview

This position is a rare chance to become the first dedicated member of the ecommerce function. Working directly with the Director of Ecommerce, you will help establish the reporting and analytics foundation for the team from scratch. The focus of the role is commercial performance, enabling better decisions across product, trading, and strategy through clear, reliable, and automated insights.

If you enjoy turning complicated data into polished dashboards that are easy to use and action, this role will suit you well.

Key responsibilities

  • Create, improve, and maintain insightful dashboards in Power BI and Excel to monitor core KPIs such as sales, stock, views, engagement, and customer lifetime value.
  • Own performance reporting as the main analytics contact, making sure information is dependable, accurate, and readily available to stakeholders.
  • Work with SQL and Python to interrogate warehouse data, combine multiple datasets, and identify trends, opportunities, and the drivers behind results.
  • Spot repetitive reporting tasks and build automation to reduce manual effort and allow for higher-value analysis.
  • Partner with teams across Trading, Planning, Content, Marketing, and Finance to understand business challenges and turn them into analytical workstreams.
  • Support the Trade team with annual planning and forecasting, and coordinate with Finance on budget submission.

Required experience and skills

  • At least 5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, including data modelling, advanced DAX, and Power Query for ETL.
  • Solid SQL capability for querying and transforming large data sets.
  • Practical experience with Python, especially pandas and NumPy, for analysis and automation.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data quality and visual presentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical colleagues.
  • Prior exposure to ecommerce or retail is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, GA, and ADE is preferred.

Values and inclusion

The organisation values creativity, openness, and courage. It is committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and aims to build a representative workplace that welcomes difference and uses it to strengthen creative output. The employer describes itself as an equal opportunity employer and supports an inclusive culture.
