Key responsibilities
Reporting to senior finance leadership, the person in this role will take ownership of core planning and analysis activities and help improve the wider finance capability.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and wider financial planning processes.
- Produce financial analysis and performance reporting that supports business decisions.
- Build, refine, and maintain financial models and analytical tools.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders on strategic and commercial initiatives.
- Support investment appraisals, business cases, and growth-related analysis.
- Track important financial and operational KPIs.
- Prepare presentations and executive-level reporting for leadership teams.
- Identify and drive improvements in reporting, planning, and forecasting methods.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the finance function.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will be a qualified accountant with strong commercial finance and analytical experience, ideally gained in a fast-paced and commercially focused environment.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent accounting qualification is required.
- Roughly 7+ years post-qualification experience is expected.
- Solid background in commercial finance, FP&A, or financial analysis.
- Strong financial modelling and quantitative analysis skills.
- Proven experience running budgeting, forecasting, and business planning cycles.
- Confident at managing stakeholders and partnering with the business.
- Ability to present financial insights clearly to senior leadership.
- Financial services exposure is useful.
- Hedge fund or asset management experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to turn data into practical recommendations.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to solving problems.
Compensation and benefits
The salary for this role is €90,000 to €100,000 depending on experience, plus bonus, pension, and healthcare.
