Role overview

This opportunity goes beyond a standard sales role. It is a chance to contribute meaningfully, learn continuously, and help generate real business impact. The Senior Inside Sales Representative will join a global professional team focused on the early stage of the sales cycle, working across a large customer segment to create fresh business opportunities.

The position can be based in Dublin, Ireland or Bucharest, Romania, with a hybrid work model that requires a minimum of 1–2 onsite days each week.

What you will do

  • Identify prospects, plan outreach, qualify leads, develop opportunities, demonstrate value, and close business.
  • Handle forecasting, win deals, and maintain customer records accurately in CRM systems.
  • Deliver against monthly and quarterly revenue and bookings targets.
  • Work with clients and strategic partners to deepen Axway’s presence in the current customer base.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers at strategic accounts.
  • Gain access to key stakeholders on both the business and IT sides.
  • Choose the best sales approach for complex technology offerings.
  • Proactively identify and develop new prospects.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives.
  • Own forecasting and commit to it with accountability.
  • Help strengthen a customer-first culture through strong service and follow-through.
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition and map the influence structure for each opportunity.

Candidate profile

  • A successful background in sales within a software company is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in hunter-style sales is expected.
  • Ability to design and execute complex sales strategies is important.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills are required.
  • A strong sense of urgency is needed.
  • You should be naturally curious and eager to learn.
  • Willingness to travel as business needs require is necessary.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills are essential.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written, is required.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com is needed.
  • A relevant university degree in business, sales, or marketing is preferred.
  • An advanced degree in business management or marketing is also desirable.
  • You should work well in a team and encourage positive behavior in others.
