Job description

Role overview

This position is for an experienced logistics professional to lead coordination across multiple project-based assignments throughout Europe. Working in a growing business with a strong project focus, you will serve as the main contact for logistics activity, making sure materials arrive on time, schedules are maintained, and delivery runs to plan. The role is ideal for someone who prefers shaping and improving logistics processes from start to finish rather than working inside a large corporate structure.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the full movement of materials across several active projects.
  • Build and manage delivery plans that fit project milestones and deadlines.
  • Work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute logistics expertise during both project planning and execution.
  • Monitor performance and keep logistics documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Spot opportunities to improve processes and put better systems in place.
  • Make sure all logistics activity follows site rules and health and safety expectations.
  • Help keep costs under control through careful planning and coordination.

Candidate profile

  • At least 5 years of practical experience in logistics or supply chain work, preferably in project-based settings.
  • Proven hands-on familiarity with logistics systems and the ability to evaluate and enhance them.
  • Strong organisational skills with the capacity to juggle several priorities at once.
  • Clear and confident communicator who can influence others and raise issues when required.
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and comfortable with a practical problem-solving mindset.
  • Skilled in MS Office and tools used for logistics and scheduling.
  • A qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management would be an advantage.
